DotTech offered a device that allowed an old-style dropdown menu beneath the hideous, stupid Ribbon on Word 2010. It was called (I think) Abi Suite. It got lost when I reinstalled 2010.

I can't find it with your search box.

Can some good dotTechie post the url???

@ jivadas: I remember someone had a rant about the ribbon, but I too searched and couldn't find it. But, I did find a prog that will "bring back the familiar menus and toolbars from 2003" (http://www.howtogeek.com/howto…..-ubitmenu/). It's called UBitMenu and you can get it at: http://www.ubit.ch/software/ub…..languages/

Or you could try RibbonCustomizer, details and download at: http://pschmid.net/office2007/ribboncustomizer/index.php

Hope this helps.
