i upgraded to Win7 64 bit.
in a giveaway i got license for Tuneup utilities 2008. but this is not compatable with Win7 64bit now.
Please recommend a free sofware.

Try Perfect Utilities, Asharf says it is WinUtilities but for free.
It says it works with Win 7 64.
That's what I'm worried about, I got my upgrade now I'm afraid I won't be able to use all of my downloads. I've been holding off installing.

Be careful with Perfect Utilities. The latest version comes with Relevant Knowledge, known malware! If you are going to get it, grab v3.02 not v3.03.

read your review about WinUtilities.
i would like to go for specialist softwares rather than bundled products.
i have installed:-
cc cleaner
win patrol
east tec eraser
revo uninstaller
auslogic defragger.
Having problem with CleanMem(how should i include a screen shot, pls guide.)Is Minimem a good alternative????

Hi drtank i looked at the software you have installed and was wondering, do you think you need Cleanmem or Minmen at all…i have found that they have had little effect on my old or new pc..if you are looking for a performance gain and i know you don't want bundled software but tuneUp 210 has a thirty day trial with turbo mode that lets you configure it to run with certain applications by turning off un-needed services to boost the program or game you are running at the time..windows seven 64 bit seems to be quite solid at the moment, and a memory upgrade is far better than so called memory optimizers..
please let me know if you use these apps what kind of gain you got from them
