Looking for a general web portal that shows news headlines & links for the news I’m interested in, RSS feeds for DotTech and a few others, quick access to weather forecast, etc.  I may be heading back to MyYahoo, but I’m wondering what else is out there – been using iGoogle for many years now but its end is near….

I was told there would be no math...

I have used http://www.symbaloo.com/ for a couple of years or so. I don’t use all of its functionality but I think it pretty much does what you want. I only use it as basically a speed dial replacement as it works better than any extension I have found. It advertises itself as an iGoogle alternative. Here is their page explaining why it the the mostest bestest iGoogle replacement in the entire universe! http://blog.symbaloo.com/igoogle-alternative/ Good luck or happy hunting or whatever.

Thanks Eric989, I took a look and so far it’s very promising.  I added a dotTech RSS feed and found a webmix of guitar lessons.  Seems easy to use.  I like being able to group things into different pages.

Another option is http://www.startme.com which is a simpler kind of start page, focusing more on bookmarks and RSS feeds. I prefer it like that, without all kinds of things I’d never use anyway.
