It sounds like you were using some good tools for the recovery. Without the BIOS being able to see the drive your options are more limited. I would try taking the drive to another machine; maybe a friend who could let you try. Disconnect their drive and boot from a boot CD and go into the BIOS to verify if the BIOS sees the drive. Another thing to try would be a PCI add-on card to see if the drive can be seen that way. Lastly you could use try a USB/Firewire case to see if the drive can be recognized that way. If none of those work your last option would be a professional recovery service but those can be expensive. If the BIOS or adapter work then you can use any of the tools mentioned to fix the drive. Good luck.

I had a WD 160 GB HDD. Bcoz of "Earthing" problems, it had already got bad sectors. But it still worked. But now its not detected in the BIOS. I had backup'ed many files from it. But still some important files are inside it. Can I anyhow get that data out from it?

I have tried HDD Regenrator, HDAT2, Windows XPE (Live CD), Linux (Ubuntu), etc. But none could detect it. Now is there any way? Please Help. Thanks in advance.
