I have Backup4All (from Ashraf's contest) and it seems to work great for file backups. I think they also have a free version. Not sure what the differences are. But I can do full, incremental, to network drives, scheduled backups, etc. Worth checking out, IMHO.

I can't think of anythingnthat does all of those. But why Win7Pro? I know that it has the built-in backup system, but from what I've heard it is very slow compared to other commercial software. Why not something like Acronis or Paragon?

Here's what I need:

A free software solution

Ability to backup to networked drives

Ability to do full backups

Ability to do incremental backups

Ability to turn off live backing up

Once again, free

If I don't like the software solution proposed I'm considering upgrading to Windows 7 Professional for $80 (at Amazon). Suggestions?
