I can save individual images by right-clicking, but is there a simple way to

batch-save all embedded images that appear in a single email message in

one fell swoop?    Confused

I am using Gmail in Firefox on Windows 7 pc

My friend if you ever figure out a way give me a call. I have been wanting to do this for ages. This and being able to download attachments from multiple e-mails at once.

Hi Ashraf….I did come across this suggestion, but I don't understand it.

Perhaps you could clarify or simplify this solution….It does look promising!

> Select “View”/”Show as”/”Plain text” form menu, and all embedded content
> will become attachments. Now right-click in attachments pane, and select
> “Save All” (or similar :-) )

Like yourself, I have been searching for a labour saving device for this extremely

tedious chore…..                                         in anticipation……….thanks

I read it. Until now I haven't had a chance to try it.

The problem is I don't know how to put e-mails into plain-text in this new Gmail interface — I knew in the old one. Any tips?

Hi Ashraf…..As I said in my second post 'I didn't understand the tip', but I did think that the reference to changing to a format that would allow them to be batch-saved, sounded promising. I think that the tip was referring to the previous version of gmail…..perhaps one of your faithfull followers may see this post and come to our rescue….hehehe!

I appreciate you going out of way to help me from your busy schedule

Hi Jumbi,

Yes, I believe in Outlook you can SelectAllImages and then SaveAs but it doesn't appear to work in Gmail in Firefox.

I would like to share an avenue that I discovered the other day which is almost what I am looking for……..

How Can I Batch-Save Embedded SWF Images From WEB PAGES

Open a web page with several SWF advertisements….Then select ALT+T+I

A PageInfo dialogue box opens….select the Media Tab

In the Address box appears containing all of the page files……select the embedded files (usually greyed out)

Click SaveAs to a file…..works great!

I would like to find something like this ….but for my Gmail images.

Good luck to all in 2012   Laugh
