I have officially had it with nero's "smart essentials" (now theres an oxymoron)

Free or otherwise what would be a good burn program for pix, data, everything?

Used Asham9 to burn Downloaded progs. onto DVD, beautiful, less headaches than (nero (every time I clicked on something it wanted an add-on or was clunky to respond))

Asham9 does make you jump through hoops though to register.

From your comment on spam, I got a kick out of this on the Reg page:

Have you tried logging into ashampoo, clicking on "my service letters", select "please remove me from the ashampoo-service letter", untick the rest, and tick "save data".

No, but I'm certainly going to give it a try.
