I really can't afford to buy X-Netstat, http://www.freshsoftware.com/xns/pro/
I searched for freeware similar to it and can't find a thing that equals it or that I can't do with a dosbox in Windows. Anybody know of a freeware that really does work like X-Netstat?

hmmm….well I can recommend NirSoft's website for you, as it has tons of freeware programs that deal with a wide range of things, including network diagnosis in your case. Worth checking out.

Might also be worth checking out Gizmo's suggestions for this as well: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-network-analysis-tools.htm

thanks guys, I have Nirsoft, Sysinternals, Axence, etc etc etc, but will check on Gizmo to see what they say. Maybe I can get my boss to spring for X-Netstat 
and I hate math, Ash!!

How about ProcNetMonitor (http://securityxploded.com/procnetmonitor.php)? I don't know if this is precisely what you are after, but it looks good. And it's freeware, so nothing lost to give it a go.
