Offline"Good suggestion but Free to try (Copy 10-photos per folder); $24.95 to
buy."
Two items on the page. Top is photo editor, paid program. Bottom is the photo sorter, freeware. When you whup this crow into shape, take another look.
For the record, I've purchased only one piece of software in the last 5+ years, and it wasn't worth it. I don't recommend anything that isn't free, by license or giveaway. I'm just cheap that way…

You are so right. I got it. Thank you for pointing that out.
I have been having a brain fade all day long. Freeware was sitting there looking right at me and probably
the whole time. Geeze
@ P_R
I am going to try to dl data crow from another site. They have about 20 listed where I can get it from.
Will let yall know what happens.

Offline@ Ebony: Here's what I could find on Google…
(Running Vista?)
Create a Data Crow folder on the desktop and install there. You can move it later.
No go? Run the installer from an elevated command prompt, bypassing the Windows Installer.
Whatever you do, be sure to boot and log on as Administrator. If Vista, disable UAC until finished.
That's all for me. I'm now bankrupt on the subject. Good luck with it.
Anyone….?

Tabbles! The name sticks out in my mind.

Simply put, Tabbles is a relational file management tool designed for
the Web 2.0-era. It allows you to organize and find files not just by
folders but by tags
and relationships – one of the many unfulfilled promises of WinFS.
Offline@ebony – any luck with DataCrow?
You should be able to check your Java version by going to the Control Panel and there should be a Java option. If you open it, one of the tabs should show the version and if needed one of the other tabs will update it.
If you want to try to run the installer from a command prompt, try this (I think you are on Win7): 1) click the Start Menu, 2) in the search box, type cmd, 3) you should see cmd.exe show up as the search result, 4) right-click on cmd.exe and select 'Run as Administrator'., 5) in the command window, navigate to the folder with the installer, and 6) run the installer
Otherwise, I agree with @bem. Just log in as the Admin.

Sorry about taking so long to respond. I have been away from a computer for about a week.
I did check and I do have the correct version of Java.
I have Vista 64
My account is set up as Admin. Is there something else I should do?
Has anyone using Vista had any success getting Data Crow to install?

What is a little tweak called " Takeownership "?
BTW: Where are you from….
[only if you feel OK saying where]
…….the name seems like Italian?

Hey Gioneo!

I live in Fl. Name's not italian… Gio = short for Georges
Neo = from Matrix ( I know I know…)
So Gioneo.
As far as Takeownership, in sum it gaves full permissions on a file or folder in windows. The tweak itself consists in adding the takeownership in the contextual menu (right-click) so you won't need to deal with user rights or the command prompt etc…
Hum… Hopefully by now Locutus posted more details about it on
Cogizio (italian?)
And yes He did! Good deal!
