PDF reader foe java supported mobile | Advice Corner | Forums

I know that this is a computer forum but i'm stuck with this.

i need a pdf reader for my java supported mobile which can read pdf file of upto 50mb size.

and ofcourse it should be free.

You can check to see if GoodReader makes a version that would work for you.  They make a good iPhone/iPad app for large pdfs.

I checked Goodreader. it supports only iPhone/iPad/ Apple products.

I need something which supports Java platform mobiles…

@ phoenix_rising: checked the site.  no program for this large size of file.

but in the Summary at the end of the article it says:

    "Besides, CPUs of mobile devices are not strong enough to process large
PDF documents. So split and mergence of their pages are necessary and
can be completed by PDF
editor. With the development of information technology, mobile PDF
readers and mobile devices will combine and perform better in the near
future."

so i guess that i have to split the single large file to mutiple small file and then read them ( but it will be very cumbersome ).

after splitting will the format of the file remain same or will change??

pls advice….
