OfflineGave me a way to crop – finally got it done.
Thanks for your help and encouragement.
OfflineI would be remiss without a followup on this saga.
i downloaded and installed a new program for me. I hadn't heard of it before.
It is the holy grail for me working with my Pictues and printing them as I desire.
Sheets of wallet sized, sharpened jpgs of mine, 5x7 's, anything I want.
I would pay $29 for it but it's free. Runs on my XP laptop and Lexmark WiFi printer just fine.

WOW!!
Just sayin'
oh, I forgot to tell you the name: Photoscape -- just Google it.

Thanks for the scoop. Photoscape looks like something I have been looking for but got a bunch of other programs that were more of pain to use and I gave up on them. I am going to give this one a spin.
I dl it from cnet. It took like almost 4 minutes. Geeze…

I thought Ashraf had previously recommended PhotoScape?!
You're probably thinking of this comment.

PhotoScape is one of those programs I have always intended to write an
article on but never got around to. Glad to know it can be used as a
“free alternative” to Odin.

Looks like it's a pretty well respected piece of software. The reviews here and here rate it Excellent. I'm going to download it and try it out.
