replacement for Bookmark previews Firefox add-on | Advice Corner | Forums

Hi

I use a firefox addon called BookMark previews:

It works in conjunction with the firefox "organize bookmarks" funtionality to present a "carousel" of thumbnail image of each of your bookmarked websites as you scroll through them

It looks like the first image on the addon page (as per link above)

The Addon is no longer being maintained and only works with up to Firefox 3.5.

I'm still using firefox 3.5 as I have come to depend on the addon in my work.

I know I need to upgrade firefox but haven't found anything that works the same as bookmark previews

I'm happy to pay for software that does the job.

Does anyone know of anything

Thanks so much for your reply.

I have installed speed dial to check it out. Unfortunately it won't preview your bookmarks, only pages that you "add" to speed dial. I really need something to preview my whole bookmark list

I also looked at foxtab:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxtab/

which will preview your open tabs or a list of sites you create. It has the sort of interface I want, but the same problem that you have to "add" your sites to a list. It won't just read your current bookmark list.
