As many people say: "If you don't ask, you'll never get what you want."
So what I want is a free license for TuneUp Utilities 2010, because older versions won't work on Windows 7. I know, I could try the compatibility thing, but don't want to risk messing up my computer.
I'm hoping to find a few drawings online somewhere that I can enter to win a legit license.
I've done a bunch of google searches looking for drawings for it and haven't found any current drawings. There's also lots of ways to download code crackers and other shady ways to get a free copy that I wouldn't call legit. I won't use them.
So if you happen to come across a drawing or know of a legit, legal giveaway somewhere, I'd really appreciate it if you'd let me know. (there's a bowl of free virtual ice cream in it for you!)

I have only ever used TuneUp 2010 for a few days when i found someone on dottech had posted a key, i stopped after the first few days as Ashraf and several others found it to be a Warez key unfortunately and removed it. Ever since then i have been looking for an actual key and its absolutely killing me, my friend keeps moaning at me and saying here just use one of these keys that he downloaded he said and i quote "No one buys software anymore c'mon". If anyone could provide a legal key i would be VERY VERY grateful!
It was the best Tuneup i have ever used!!
Please someone get a legal key for us
Difficult, to be sure…..but it shall be done!!

Yeah well the only way I could think of was to wait for TU 2011 to be released, when the freebie of TU2010 will surface..
I tried the compatibility mode and there was no problem, BTW.

By now, I don' even mess with trying to get SW in a contest;………….. there's too much free stuff out there, & I will consider anything that's fully functional (usually professional) with free support 1 *or so* day only giveaways………..
(But rarely from GOTD anymore, why D/L any SW without support, ………as problems may not be apparent for days or weeks later???)

@Phoenix: May I respectfully suggest maybe you could start a thread about your obviously strong feelings about people bringing up ice cream in our posts.
That way it would bring that conversation into one thread instead of it being spread out in as many threads as ice cream is. Plus, we will be able to find out just how many people are feeling the same way you are. Then if people do support your view, things will change.
I understand that you find it objectionable to find that subject in more areas than just the chatter thread, that point has been made clear. However, finding what comes across as angry rants in threads that were otherwise going along just fine is very objectionable too.
