Anyways, if the update fails, you can try deleting the "upgrade" folder in the wp-content directory. Voila!

 

Also, if the root directory on your host server contains the ".maintenance" file, you should delete that too.

However, I believe the update failed and now my site is inaccessible through the admin panel, or anywhere in fact (keep getting php errors). What should I do now? Is there any way to undo this besides restoring my old backups through the host server?
