Rush, 2112 concert. Simply put, THEE best concert I’ve ever been to. Second best was Patty Smith.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the dotTech kids among us are scratching their heads and thinking: Who the heck are these people? Are they any relation to Justin Bieber?

I’d have to echo Ebony’s question.

But after reading Phoenix’s comment, maybe I don’t want to know who Justin Bieber is. Confused

@ Wheezer: In this instance, ignorance is bliss, my friend!

@ Locutus: That he does.

I’m probably going to see Rush when they come to Seattle on August 7!

Calebstein: What impressed me so much about the Rush concert is that they were the only band (that I ever saw) who’s live music sounded as good in concert as it did when it was played from an album or tape on a stereo. Cool

Keep in mind tho, I saw them in concert sometime during the late 1970s or early 1980s. Things may have changed since then.

Well, R30 was a great album, and done in 2004.

I play the piano. I’m currently in Grade 6 Piano. Cool

Surprisingly, it’s more enjoyable than Grade 5! Surprised

Sorry, I must be missing something.

How does R30 being a great album relate to the sound quality Rush puts out at a concert?

Or are you saying that R30 should make for a good concert if the sound quality at the concert is as good as the album.

I’ll leave it to Ashraf to shut this thread down if he wants, but for those of you who aren’t aware, music (at least downloads, freebies, etc) is one thing that Ashraf doesn’t usually allow on the site due to religious reasons.

Wait, I wouldn’t really allow illegal freebies of music on a site either, but what is wrong with talking about whose a musician?

P.S. I’m writing this with my guitar under my arm.

That’s why I said I’d leave it up to Ashraf. He doesn’t want links/download to even legal music on the site. I don’t know if he objects to talks about musicians.

I just meant it as an FYI to those who didn’t know.
