Christmas gift from ABBYY!
The software is 154 mb and the key is built into the installer.
It allows to select the text of an image to copy it to the clipboard or open a word document with
the text.

Just downloaded, it's so slow and then some!
Bored while it downloaded, I remembered that ABBYY FineReaderSprint had been installed as part of my new Epson "Small-in-One" installation. So I had a search (courtesy of "Everything") and guess what? It had ABBYY Screenshot Reader as part of the ABBYY package! I have installed it and it looks good.
Moral of this? Check what gets installed and use it, delete it or archive it. But know what you've got!!

Yes, I agree. According to their site: "ABBYY FineReader 9.0 Sprint is a "light" version of ABBYY FineReader Professional that is provided with some scanner models. This application is designed for converting document scans into editable texts."
The current build is 11.0 and it is a light version, but not bad when bundled with a sub-60 poundsGB (90 dollarUS) printer/scanner.
Incidentally, I remember you posting about free Acronis Home Image being available for WD hard disk users. Perhaps dotTechies could post about "free" good apps. bundled with, or downloadable for various hardware items?

I just tried it again, this time it worked! Been trying for a couple of months, followed the Avatar thread, but didn't post cos' I don't want to get a reputation as a "moaner". If you didn't deliberately fix it, perhaps your recent upgrade did the trick?
I just chose anything to try, now I'll have to find a better one. Actually this one is fairly accurate, except it for the mustachio! 
Changed it now! What's your policy on avatar changing? I could change it every month?
