I just looked it up, and it's a personal information manager. According to Cnet, it's:

# a Notes tool for word processing, note taking, and copying text and images from email and the Web
# a Viewer to open PDFs, WordPerfect and Microsoft Word files
# a Navigator to organize your ideas and documents
# a free online account with 200MB storage plus many more services

However, from the reviews I have just looked at, it's apparently very buggy. Thanks for the heads-up though, as I always have my eyes out for progs like this. However, given that it doesn't have the best of reviews I think I'll stick with OneNote for the time being.

@PheonixRising:  Did you know that OneNote can do OCR?

@ Locutus: Really? I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip! You know, I had been looking all over the place for a notes prog that fulfilled all my needs without any success. And then last semester I tried OneNote and was hooked. How did I overlook it for so long? It really does everything (even more so now I know it does OCR – very handy indeed). I think MS got it right with OneNote.

PS. Ahem, you seem to have a rather large facial blemish. If you squeeze it, I'm sure it will burst …

@Adrian: You have no idea. PC Basics has probably e-mailed me of 10+ freebies in a week; I suggested he start posting here instead so he gets a larger audience since I don't always have the time to go through everything.

Ashraf has to change your "rank" manually – sometimes he just plain forgets or he does not have time to change it.

Sorry but I just added a new rule – you need at least 50 posts to request a custom rank. I added this because I don't want people who just come here occasionally to use up ranks. Don't worry tho – at the rate you are going you will easily get there in no time, and I will give you the rank.

Yes it is just for fun.
