I was wondering what you meant by "non-magazine promotion". Is that a bad thing or just not one of your preferences?

It's against dotTech's rules.
Any freebies posted must be 100% legit and legal. No cracks, warez, etc.
nor are you allowed to post freebies that are for specific magazine
subscribers only.

I should actually remove the link… I'm gonna do that.
Basically, they're freebies that are only for readers of specific magazines. I only count it as "wrong" if the link is not available from the magazine's site, but in the case of this one, the link was not available.
