Guys, I just wanna share with you all a promotion that I found. It is a commercial backup program given away for free…although not the latest version.

Here is how to get Genie Backup Manager V5.0 Pro for free (the latest version is V8)

Go to this page:

Register with your name and using a valid email address. You will receive your license number and download link via email once you complete filling the form.

You can download the latest build of Genie Backup Manager Pro Edition using the following direct link:
http://www.genie-soft.com/download/GBMProV5_Setup.exe

Install and register using the license key received.

Xmmm, its seems to me quite an old version, dated 2004…

Why use this when one can use the new free ones and improved?

(like GFI backup)

Right there..it IS an old version. I am just sharing whatever freebies that I know of…who knows it might be useful for someone here (perhaps, a long time Genie Backup user)

Anyway, I have not used it before and I can't recommend the program. Perhaps, Ashraf can take a look at it and make a review for it. I am pretty sure the 'promo' is still working now. Sometimes 'old is gold'…

P.S. Using other free and new backup software might be a better choice.
