You need to do two things first. Roll your clock back to the 27th and shut down your internet. After the install make sure that Winx cannot access the internet.

I installed another dvd recorder after the date besides the reinstall of winx and it kept saying and parameters. It also looked a little different, like it was the trial version of the new one. After uninstalling several times with revo and going through the registry with a fine tooth comb. I figured out that little cheat.

I wonder if you could taker the new platinum one and drop the codes in from the free platinum and it work.hmmmmm
