OfflineHi everyone. CHIP.de is giving away v.1.9.1 of jv16 PowerTools (previously given away was v1.9.0.590). This is a great product, so if you want it, head to: http://www.chip.de/downloads/Vollversion-jv16-PowerTools-2009_42960945.html
The zipped d/l includes the installer and license file (license.xbin). To use the licence file, just click on it. You'll be asked what prog you want to use to open it. Go to the Program Files folder and open the jv16 folder, open it and click on the jv16 application file and use that. Done. Registered.

Offline@ Jeanjean: You're welcome.
@ Adrian: Most software updates feature only minor changes or tweaks. I, for one, am glad to be able to update this prog from the version I have, however small the changes might be. And I'm sure others will be as well. Thanks for such an informative response.

Hi PR
Good to see you back. Don't be a stranger.
How long is the license file for? I am only getting 30 days.

OfflineHi,
I've just tried this way on XP -Sp 3 with success.
I've installed the program and let it do the analyse…
Then I've copied the license file in the folder of Jv16 Tools (don't know if this is the reason of the success) and did what phoenix_rising says : open the license file with jv16PT.exe.
I've now this mention in place of 30 days trial : Registred to CHIP Online.
BTW the copy is for 5 PC (see "About")
