Very strange. Do you still have the licence you downloaded? If so can you email it to me. If you dont have it, dont worry about.

@ AlanR: Hi. Thanks. Interesting about the beta version. Thanks for the heads-up. I see, though, that the download on CHIP.de is for a 60-day demo only and that it costs $30 to buy. As much as I love the prog, it’s too much for me unfortunately. So I guess that means sticking with the older version for now.

Given all the problems with this only being valid for a limited period, I am going to stick with my fully functional jv16PowerTools2009 edition – there doesn’t seem to be much, if any, difference with this offering. Confused
Suppose we will have to wait for their next major version PROMO. Frown
The beta though is FREE – if you care to try it….Cool

I got this one fine just the same – BUT have not installed it in place of my existing fully working edition.

Maybe a Sandboxie trial after Ashampoo Uninstall (recovery copy) might be a safer test. Just need time to get round to it – which, by then, the full version 2.0 may be released…Smile Laugh Laugh

Yeah, saw the post. Was about to blast the Borg but then noticed end credit to P-R.

See my comment (when I finish it later) in your article post. Cool

@ Ebony: You’re most welcome. Glad to hear it was another happy outcome.

Do you mean it’s not in the All Programs folder in start?

1, C:Documents and Settings, All Users, Start Menu, Programs.

In Programs, right click, New Folder.  Call it jv16 PowerTools 2009.

2, Then go C:Program Files, jv16 PowerTools 2009.

right click on jv16PT, and create shortcut.

Rename it to jv16 PowerTools 2009 and drag it to the folder you made in the 1st step.

  For Vista:

- Click on Start and Right -click on All Programs

It will open the programs folder in explorer so you can manually add shortcuts to programs.

@Gibbster

Go the web site and on the bottom left of the page click on Verwandte Downloads and a page will open with Zum Download.

Hope this helps.
