You need to register for BNET first and then go to this link and download the software. Nitro is supposed to send you the key within 7 days.

OfflineNope. Haven't registered it or even installed it.
I found the link to get the free copy on Nov 1 and I just got the key today, Nov 10.
My guess is that bnet (the site you have to register for) is batching up the requests and sending them to nitro once a week. But I don't really know what takes so long.
I'll install it tonight and post again to verify that the key works.
OfflineThe key came from no-reply@newsletter.nitropdf.com to my gmail.com address. gmail did not automatically spam it.
Also, I had originally downloaded the 32-bit version from the link on the bnet.com site, but when I tried to install it on my Vista Home Premium 64-bit, the installer told me to download the 64-bit version. I installed the 64-bit version successfully and the key worked to activate the product.

OfflineBogus alert people. It is not the full key. After installing and registering, I find it is only for 14 days: "Thank you. You can now try all of the features of Nitro PDF Professional — the Adobe® Acrobat® alternative — without restriction for 14 days! Your trial has been successfully registered in our system, and a free support token has been issued to you. This token is valid until 11/25/2009."
Nice of BNet to mention that in their promotion. What a waste of time and energy.
