My key seems to be the full version. I'm at work so I don't have my laptop in front of me, but I think you have to go to the Help menu or something like that and Activate the software. This prompts you to enter the key received in the email. After that your software is the full version.
The email about the 14 day trial and support just comes after you install the software and register on their website.
The key received in the email actually activates the trial to the full version.
When I get home this evening (after 7pm EST) I'll look for the exact option and post it.

I doubt it will. As per the e-mail you pasted for me, it specifically says "To activate your trial version, please use the following serial: xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx".

I'm fairly sure that it was activating from the trial version to the full version. However, I will confirm again when I get home from work.

If you have register on ZDNet, Cnet or TechRepublic those logins also work for bNet. I still have no key. How long did it take for your email to come?

It took from 11/1 to 11/10 to get my key.
You don't have to register with Nitro to get the full version. You just have to activate the product using the key you get in the email. Registering it on their site is optional to get support (first 30 days) and to get notice of updates.
I'm at home now and I've verified that I have a full licensed version and not the 14 day trial.

Very complicated process … unnecessarily complicated process, if you ask me. How very confusing. But I have re-downloaded the installer and thankfully kept the key, so I will try again. I'll let you know in a few minutes how it goes.

Ok, I've gone through all the hoops, but I have no idea if this thing is now the trial or full version. When I open up the license section in the "about" tab, I get an "Installation ID" and a "Computer ID' (the same number), but no "License code". Ridiculously confusing. Totally ridiculous. I guess I'll know in a fortnight, but why make it this complicated????

true, true, this is kinda annoying …
But if you do the optional registration step on the nitropdf web site and then log into your nitropdf account (Support tab, Overview subtab, then log in link on right) and then go to 'Registered Products' and click on the 'Show Serial Number' link you get the following which indicates a Full version.
