Has anyone tried using version 5.5.25 on Windows 7 yet?

I'm wondering if version 5 will still work on & and we can all wait for version 6 to come about free again.

Hmm interesting post on v5 free. I believe I saw that earlier when it was not German specific… they changed it now =(.

I don't see why v5 shouldn't work on Win7.

Actually, I just tried it on Windows 7 6 bit Server and it did not work. I don't have a 32 bit version of windows 7 to test it on.

I also sent an e-mail to the company to find out if I could upgrade with the key since it is from Germany.

They haven't gotten back to me yet. I'll let you know if they do.

Sorry, at least people can still use it on their Vista machines until we find a free version 6.

It may work on a 32 bit Windows 7.

I never got mine and I use it so much I won't install Windows 7 yet. I got the student 7 pro version for cheap. But no nitro 6.

If anyone knows where else I can get it I'd appreciate it.

For all students, Microsoft does have Windows 7 Pro for $29.99 here is the link. Look at the bottom right. Kinda hidden.

You really shouldn't post your email in public. Frown

But anyway, I PM'd you the Nitro key. If you need instructions on activating the software, it is somewhere in this thread. When I used my key, I just downloaded the software from the Nitro website and then activated it using the key.

If it doesn't work for you, let me know, so I can offer it up to someone else to try.
