This one includes Basicmaker and the 505 revision. Haven't checked if there is any other differences yet.

Is this the same thing as Ashampoo office?

Any comments? Questions? Outbursts?

You sure about Basicmaker? On the registration page it says (translated to English) “Here you have without any obligation permanently usable licenses of TextMaker 2008 word processor, spreadsheet PlanMaker 2008 and the presentation program SoftMaker Presentations 2008 – all compatible with Microsoft Office. The functionality corresponds to the previously offered for € 69,95 SoftMaker Office 2008, with the exception of not contained here Duden dictionaries.”

@Refpeuk

I think it is but Amnesia says otherwise. Want to install it and let us know? =D.

Yeah, it's got Basicmaker, I'm looking at it right nowLaugh. Isn't Ashampoo Office just Softmaker Office rebranded?

Fine, fine you win.

I am debating if I should post about it or not.

The only advantage of this one is if you want basicmaker,  “a programming environment that allows you to control TextMaker, PlanMaker and other VBA-compatible programs using SoftMaker Basic scripts”, (which I don't understand). Also the latest update is included. Anyone who already has ashampoo, it's not really necessary. If someone was thinking about getting Ashampoo, I would say get this one, just a little more straight forward to install. But the other thing is, this promo may not last very long.
