Anybody know how easy it is to create a game with this? 500 MB would take me all day to download with my tethered Android.

My guess is it isn't point-and-click -- you need to know what you are doing.

Not sure if there are any gamers here at dotTech, but I thought this might be worth to share. Unity is a free game engine designed for creating great games. (As so they claim) Again this is a game designer/maker/creator. But for a limited time, you can get the iOS and Android kits for FREE! Each was around $500, but until April 8th, you can get both of these packages for NO cost. No CC required. (Only address, name, etc.)

So if your interested, head over to Unity Store and buy one or both packages (after signing up for an account). And yes, you can make a game and sell it.....and make money.

https://store.unity3d.com/index.html

NOTE: The version given out for free is not the "PRO" version but rather the "FREE" version. The FREE version has always been free, but you could only make computer games. The bonus in this freebie is the iOS and Android packages. (which were around $500 each) These packages will allow you to also make games for Apple and Android devices. But I'm sure no one here is actually going to need the PRO version unless you are serious and professional game dev. (Unity PRO cost $1,500.00)
