Hi all,
Do all remember this giveaway: http://dottech.org/freebies/17904
I just got an email that says Vectorian Giotto 3.0 and furture versions now "free as in Beer"! But anything that says beer is good isnt it?
Why it suggests it is now free is cause it is still using ActionScript 2 but says ActionScript 3 is ten clicks more something as simple as you could do with the old

well if you take a look at their site:
it does seem legit as it is from the product site.. as for the beer part.. i really don't see beer as being free so that part confuses me ;)
as far as the actual product is concerned- I actually think it is legit. Maybe they want to get their name out and sound different from Adobe Flash because not as many people are buying their products?
these are just guesses… i don't have time to download and do a virus total scan [I have a lot of work *grumble* but I think you are fine if you get the new version.
But my response like always is to wait for a more knowledgeable dottech tech to confirm this.
EDIT:
i downloaded the file to see how big it was and it was a mere 8 MB [do you remember how big your file was for the old version?]
well virus total says the site is clean. and the file

seems legit enough to me [but once again wait for more dottechies]
