the jist is you get 1 year Ad-aware pro for free … HOWEVER- you have to be a CNET Member, so just sign up :)

im not too sure about the performance of Ad-Aware compared to Avast, etc ( i did have Ad-Aware SE once  and then i slowly changed to my beautiful Avast!)
