What is it you say? Here is the ZDNet description;
Wubi is an officially supported Ubuntu installer for Windows users that can bring you to the Linux world with a single click. Wubi allows you to install and uninstall Ubuntu as any other Windows application, in a simple and safe way. Are you curious about Linux and Ubuntu? Trying them out has never been easier!You keep Windows as it is, Wubi only adds an extra option to boot into Ubuntu. Wubi does not require you to modify the partitions of your PC, or to use a different bootloader, and does not install special drivers. It works just like any other application.
Wubi is spyware and malware free, and being open source, anyone can verify that.
If you are curious about LINUX, here's an opportunity to try it out without going through virtual hoops or other dual boot set-ups.
OfflineAdrian: Since I've never heard about this option to try LINUX, I think this thread is in the right place.
If everybody and his brother knew about it and used it, that would be different.

I agree with Wheezer. Since this is probably software that most are not familiar with, it is best to leave it in this forum where it will get the most exposure.
Thanks guys for your support. That was my opinion, especially considering this website predominantly caters for the Windows environments.

Does it really matter that much in which forum it is placed? It is for Mr. Boss decide what's appropriate.
As long as the message gets through is what counts.

Linux is fine, but BSD is ages better. Too bad there is not a program like this that installs BSD, but I am fine with the text based installer, so it's ok
Care to start a new topic on BSD ? I am sure many of us are keen to be enlightened and educated.
