There is a new indie game site for those of you who are fans of Humble Bundle, IndieGala, IndeRoyale, or others. It is called IndieGameStand. It offers one game at a time for 4 days or you can buy a 10 dollar bundle that includes the latest expired game, the current game, and an unknown future game. The minimum price appears to be 25 cents from my experience but you have to pay at least a dollar if you want Steam or Desura keys if they are available. Many of the games are available for Linux and Mac as well, and all of them are DRM free which is great.
The games that have been offered so far are Chester, Escape Goat, SpaceChem, Gnomoria, The Geneforge Saga, Really Big Sky, Brainpipe A Plunge to Unhumanity, Cardinal Quest, and Megabyte Punch. The current game is Deadly 30 which is a 2d zombie shooter that looks pretty nice. Hurry there is only about 18 hours left for this one as of the time of this writing.
I like this site and hope it continues to offer good games. So far I have purchased 3 games from them. I really like this format because I am not forced to pay 5 to 8 dollars to buy 5 to 10 games of which I like only 1 or 2. Additionally 10% goes to charity and they have a return policy if you don't like the game you purchased. Check them out at the link below.
Sorry, I accidentally posted this to the freeware section and don't see a way to change it, but at least 25 cents is almost free, right?
The latest game offering is called Zombies. It will be available for about 4 days and looks like one I will purchase. It is an isometric third person zombie shooter that looks similar to the games from the Zombie Shooter series but with simpler graphics. In the game you play a corporate worker whose boss and coworkers turn into zombies and you must fight your way through 25 levels in the offices and parking garage of the building.
This is a Windows only game and is available DRM free or on Desura. The minimum price for this game should be 25 cents but you will have to pay at least a dollar to unlock it on Desura.
Happy Gaming! You can find the game here.
The newest game offering still has about 90 hours to go. It is called The Journey Down Chapter One and it is a point and click game. This is a cross platform title and is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. As usual this game is DRM free and can be had for 25 cents but if you want it on Desura you have to pay at least $1. You can find a very quick minute and a half review of the game here.
As always the game is available at IndieGameStand.
Note that I didn't post the previous game offering as it did not interest me and was a little different than their other offerings as it was an online multiplayer only game. I probably won't be posting all of their game offerings, just remember that there is a new game every 4 days and check it out for yourself.
Also note that the Humble Bundle for Android 4 is out now. It looks pretty decent and it appears all of the games are available for Android, Windows, Linux, and Mac so is should have something for everyone. Check it out below. It has 13 days to go.
