Actually I have had this free (pro version) for several weeks now and I am quite happy with it. In fact it has allowed me to update it a couple of times now with no problem, in case anyone is interested.

OK. If you're happy with Revo Free Edition, then stick with it. But if you're thinking of maybe going for Revo PRO, then it's well worth you comparing / contrasting the top-grade Revo product with this from Innovative (Google for Advanced Uninstaller Pro.)

Innovative used to charge for this and may yet do so again, but anyway: for the moment, it's free. No ads. No nag screens. Nuffink. And it's a more advanced version than that which Locutus generously mentioned on here all of two years ago (gosh, wow: was it that long???)

I've now been running AUP for a couple opf weeks -- no point in coming on here to suggest something if one hasn't checked it out properly -- and it's worked well as an uninstaller. It also offers an entire bag of tricks that a user may wish to play around with, too.

NOTE: I'm NOT saying that this uninstaller is the best thing since sliced bread (or wotever). Rather that it delivers more than Revo Free does in terms of installation monitoring / uninstallation processing. And, for some weird reason, it found an existing installed app on my machine to which Revo Free had been entirely blind. So having a combo of Revo Free and Advanced Uninstaller PRO (for free) may be of value to many users -- it certainly beats Windows 'add and remove' and is better than the inbuilt uninstaller in the CCleaner package.
