This is my second post about another freebie (this time a game) that hopefully hasn't already been talked about. My first post didn't go so well (it was already known), so here goes nothing.
On the website http://www.alawar.com/game/ala…..-game-box/, you can download a program called Alawar Game Box (See Image Below). The Game Box is a pretty small download, 1.93MB and has one great feature. Every month, (I think) they give out a free game. This month, they are giving away Mahjongg Artifacts (a $6.99 USD value). I haven't looked into this program very much as I have found out about it today.
The games that you download (e.g. Mahjongg Artifacts) are full versions.
At least, that is what it seems to be. I don't know.
This freebie has probably been known for a long time but the search bar on DotTech didn't find any matches.
As for the actual game, Mahjongg Artifacts, it is sort of old (there is already a sequel). I'm not much of a Mahjongg person, so any review I would make would be biased.

I like finding free games.
But this one is just a teaser, it only lets you play for 1 hour.
I hope you find more
but without the time limit.
I use games to mentally get away.

sorry for hijacking this thread :) but if u want some game for free (or with some ad in the middle of game) u can check gamehouse daily free game
or you can find sandlot's weekly free game. no ad but need registration and finish buying procedure

It says "Enjoy one hour for free!"
You don't want that. You have to download their GameBox and click on the free game tab.

Remember how I said I wasn't a Mahjongg person? Not anymore! I started playing and I couldn't stop. Four hours went by before I finally realized what time it was.

Its time to update this old thread. If you still have the Game Box, Alawar now has a new free game, Mysteries of Horus. If you don't have the Game Box, I believe the original instructions still work. Mysteries of Horus is a good puzzle game.
