You may not know that these ads can be removed. For this example, I will use Bato Tibetan Puzzle, a fun puzzle game where you have to remove stones by matching them. It is somewhat difficult and extremely fun. Here's a description from the site:

Note: This isn't Gametop's description and it mentions Bato – Treasures of Tibet instead  of Bato Tibetan Puzzle. I believe they are the same game and the description is pretty accurate.

 

To get this free game, go to http://www.gametop.com/downloa.....ames/bato/. This site is packed with advertisments so here's the direct installer link: http://f.gametop.com/free-game.....d/Bato.exe.

Now just download and install as usual. Make note of the installed location ("C:/Program Files (x86)/GameTop.com/Bato" on Vista). Open this location when it finishes installing and find the play.url link. Open it with notepad and delete all the lines. Save it.

You can now run the game through "bato.exe" and there will be no ads.

I got this game a while ago so I'm trying to remember what I did. Hopefully I gave you the correct steps. Wink
