It simply holds all the posts I've written about Ubuntu though.
Good things include: Ubuntu Tweak, Using Adobe Air (an application platform), running Windows apps in Ubuntu with WINE, getting Microsoft's fonts, and my initial (long) review.

Yes it had a 1 year Manu. Warranty which resets to a brand new 6-month warranty after every repair.
I mean their last model, since this happened they have moved on to a brand new model (which looks pretty slick). Im kind of hoping to get a refund, since what I payed for back then will get me a better laptop now (*shifty eyes*).
Favorite linux distro -> Linux Mint. It is the pure spirit of open-source community based software. At least the proprietary-software-free version is.

I never really paid much attention to Acer computers. I had never heard much of them and their computers really did not look that special.
