Also, this seems to be the most tempting phone I've ever seen. Maybe it's because it's the whole promise of the Google experience, or maybe it's the cool-looking design.

Tethering with the Nexus S is so easy and flawless… wow. I just tested it out for kicks and it literally took me 30 seconds to get setup. I <3 Google.

Curved display is a marketting gimmick more than anything: It doesn't take away or add to the experience of using the phone. In fact sometimes I even forget it has a curved display…
In regards to NFC, I hear the NFC may be read only, although that is probably a software limitation as opposed to hardware.
If you are looking for an Android phone, and are willing to move to T-Mobile and/or use 2G on AT&T, Nexus S is the phone to get right now. This may change next month, though, when the LG Optimus2X comes out.
