OfflineI have been tempted to try some beta SW by companies that I trust based on previous experience. However, I was wondering about the pros and cons of using beta sw.
Does it stop working after a certain period of time?
Does the developer really care about your feedback?
What are some the risk to my system?

OfflineI think the best answer to this is "it depends". There will be some Beta software of high quality, where developer listens to feedback, and which cause little to no harm to your system. Other software, on the other hand, will be poor quality, developer may or may not care about feedback, and they may cause harm to your system. So it really depends.
(Oh and it is up to the developer if they want to only Beta version for only a limited period of time.)
OfflineThanks Ashraf
I am thinking of trying one that has multiple versions starting from 2.00 and now up to 8.00 with all the a b c versions in between.
The developer has a great rep (checked i'net) for other SW….soooo I think I might try one and see what happens. If worse come to worse, I will have learned my lesson.
Wish me luck.
