Ohhhh right right. My laptop has a battery that could last up to 6 hours. Well, the primary battery provides 5 hours, and the secound battery provides 1 hour of... you know.

You have a girlfriend!? Aw SCREW IT!!! I don't have one yet! Everyone is taken, when am I gonna get one!!!

@Locu

Instead of wanting your laptop to die, how about you re-image it and clear everything out, re-install Ubuntu or Windows and POOF! Brand new computer! Don't forge t clean your laptop with a semi-wet microfibre towel, and wipe the screen with a special solution. Then there we go, BRAND NEW LAPTOP!

At my school, I'm probably the ONLY ONE who has the most cleanest laptop ever. Not to be sacarstic or anything, but it's a fact. Lots of people are like "Joji why is your laptop so shiny", or"Whoa so clean... it's only a SCHOOL LAPTOP why do you care it so much?"

I haven't actually ever had a bad hard drive. Every hard drive I have is in tip-top shape. Some of them are 8 years old!

This is luck or the hard disks are not being used so many hours!

I think that by manufacturing characteristics, all HDs have specific operating hours to live. And this is something written also to many shops when one reads the HD specifications.

I have experienced about 4-5 HD deaths the last decade (but I use ~10 different kinds of PCs). Of course I have replaced 2-3 dozens of notebook HDs of customers because they do not know that they shouldn't move the notebook while operating(!). Only a few notebooks (usually the more expensive models) have mechanism-censor to move the heads of their HD aside while the notebook is moving...

My girlfriend used to carry her netbook everywhere into her house...although she knew it was bad habit. I switched her HD to SSD and now I sleep calm :-)

If your computer needs imaging, it's not a hardware problem (unless it's to a new HDD, in which case GET A BETTER BRAND! I recommend Seagate).

Actually, well, many things on my laptop was screwed up, and re-imaging also "refreshes" my laptop too.

...and you notice I DO use Seagate... right? I said that a lot of times already. LoL. Western Digital is horrible. So much junkies that I don't need! Not only that, but they throw in a lot of trial-ware, while Seagate throws in full-versions of WD's trial-wares.

SEAGATE FTW!!!

Please check the initial review here + great comments + comparison to other similar services. You will find out dozens of reasons why people need online storage and moreover automated syncing between computers.

And of course, an external HD just can't do this job.

Ya, I know I know. But you see, my laptop needs repairs quite a few times right? And usually it's re-imaging. So, I need external hard drives with large amounts of space to store my stuff. Online storage is not enough to store all my files.

I hope you understood what I meant in that post…
