Agree with Ashraf. GMail and Google Docs have been more "complete" than the Beta tag lets on for at least a year. The only difference is that Google is now finally acknowledging that. (Can't speak for Calendar or Talk because I don't use them)

In fact, not even Google themselves seem to take the fact that "GMail is not a Beta" seriously. If you go into GMail labs, there's an addon which puts the "Beta" tag back on to the logo. They say it's just for fun and to please people who think Google have "been too brave" and "want to feel comfortable", but I think it just serves to make a mockery of the service - which I personally find saddening, because GMail is the BEST webmail service around, hands down.

Thanks for posting though =).

"Google today will finally remove the long-standing beta tag from some of its most popular web applications, most notably its wildly popular email application, Gmail. In addition to the beta-less Gmail, Google Calendar, Docs, and Talk (i.e., the rest of the Google Apps suite) will also shed the beta moniker. Gmail has notoriously worn the beta badge since its initial invite-only launch back in April of 2004."
