<p>What do you mean by "they take up all but one possible partition, so you can only make one extra"? I put 3 partitions on vista.</p>

<p>Say I have a new harddrive, 500 gigs. What is the best way to partition it so it can run efficiently?<br />
Should I put the programs together with the windows partition('C' drive)  or should that partition be strictly for windows?</p>
