When I went to log-in on dottech.org I could not connect, so I used this website to see if it was down for everyone else, or just me:

And 1^st time it said was down for everyone, next time, a little later, it was once again available.

 Well that was a surprise for some reason, tho I was like almost kinda sorta ,....right about being on an island ...in the Pacific (but not exctly an atoll)

I'm using Firefox 3.0 with the extensions Cybersearch, Google Toolbar, WOT and Video DownloadHelper. Nothing that would affect Firefox spellchecking functionality.

Perhaps it's Google Toolbar.  BUt I'd rather not find out.

Gioneo: Your way sounds like a lot more work than it's worth. IMO anyway. Altho I do thank you for the info. It's just happening in the header, so it doesn't effect anything other than the looks. So for now I'll just live with it.

I started this thread more to see if it others were seeing it than to get it fixed.

 Hope by the time I write this, you have fixed ur issue... If not try this:

Revert whichever browser you are using to it's default settings, close it, load it again and personalize your options again. That should do it.

@Wheezer: I was referencing the "Forum Timezone: America/Los_Angeles" when saying "there". BTW, how come the Firefox spell checker doesn't work? It works with me, but it didn't identify my error in that "Another rant" thread.

Anyways... that never happened to me, I'm using Chrome and it's all good. :)
