The laptop is only entry level, but it has terrific specs for the low price. Anyone looking for a new laptop should jump on this.

This looks almost identical to my Compaq laptop. I wonder, how would they profit from giving us $100 for our old computers? Or an even better question, what exactly do they do with these old computers? Good deal though.

That’s a really good deal you found, Ashraf. 
Especially for an “entry level.” Its specs are similar to my 17” Toshiba Satellite (my 1st laptop & only 2nd computer), I paid about $700, after a bunch of rebates, & actually has twice the Hard Drive…. (& to upgrade from Vista to 7 right now is at least $100-150).
Just 1 (hopefully not dumb) 
question: Aren’t most, if not all, new screens “Backlit”?

We have a few HP laptop's dependable yes. sturdy no question about it. when we replace the current laqptops it will be with HP laptops.
In the end everything will be OK. If it's not OK then it's not the end.
