I'm looking for a cheap graphics tablet that would be compatible with GIMP and Inkscape. As I'm not the "professional artist" and more of a hobbyist, I'd rather it be cheap. I've found Wacom's Bamboo Pen Tablet, which has received some good reviews and is in my price range.

So, does anyone have any experience with graphics tablets and/or any suggestions on which tablet I should buy?
Thanks

OfflineHi Casey, I got a wacom a couple of years ago with a Corel paint and Adobe elements software bundle and it works well in those Progs. The mouse and pen are both good for detail, and set how you like them, also just came here from Softonic and there is a new USB version of GIMP, GimPhoto portable 1.4.3 remade to be like photoshop setup.
