OfflineWe all know how Rudd and Conroy are planning the big filter to block what they believe is adult (RC Rated) or the best parts of the web.
Now it seems it has something everyone would like.
Today they announce a that they "Call to banish virus-hit computers from internet" as The Australian Newspaper puts it.
This will see ISP's such as Optus, Telstra, Vodafone, AAPT, Virgin and Hutchison 3G, as well as industry giants Facebook, Google and Microsoft booting scammers, spammers and virus spreaders from the net.
However those who do this are given a chance to remove the evidence from their computers by making the persons call their ISP to see what the problem is.
This has all come about by McAfee (which we will call the governments virus advisor) saying now we are the 3rd dodgiest place on the net against 2 years ago where we didn't appear anywhere near the 10.
This part of the Rudd Filter needs to be taken up however its only voluntary. It is not much to fear if you have the right virus software.
