A customer wrote in with some concerns about Apple's iron grip on the
content iPhone owners are allowed to receive in app form, saying he had
an issue with "the blocking of Mark Fiore's comic app (due to being
political satire) or blocking of what Apple considers to be porn"
Jobs jumped right on the "porn" part of the complaint, writing "We do
believe we have a moral responsibility to keep porn off the iPhone …
Folks who want porn can buy an Android phone." That's not just Steve in a
bad mood, either. He also called out Android's porn apps earlier this
month during the Q&A for iPhone OS 4.0, where he said that on
Android, "Your kids can download porn. That's a place we don't want to
go."

I must live under a rock. I had no idea that there were such things as "porn apps" or that people used their mobile phones to watch porn. Seriously, people do this? OMG, I'm now going to look suspiciously at people using their mobiles who have strange expressions on their faces. I feel like my innocence has been shattered!

People (do men really count as people???) use whatever they can to watch porn unfortunately. Even in the "sanitized" Apple app universe there is still a Playboy app, various sex position apps, etc. And they are always showing up in the Top 25 apps lists that are in iTunes.
