BTW: I just reported a post this AM...that did indeed contain spam ...& ...........who knows whatever else....when the only other person online was the perpetrator....They had only posted 1 thing & was monitoring that topic...so I warned everyone not to click on anything until it was verified.....Once the warning was posted, the Perp went offline! .....& it has since been removed!

One of the hard parts of this "job" is that if it's a false alert (as in "my bad" ), then you'll see what I was warning about; but when it turns out to be spam.... or worse...only the person(s) checking it out will know I was right, & y'all can't see that...as tho nothing was ever there...

I have asked to be PM'd when verified.... it just helps to know that my efforts have been acknowledged...about 5 total deviants deleted in the past few weeks.....but regardless.....I will continue to be ever vigilant.

....However, since Ashraf, The Admins (Locutus, Karen, etc,), Adrian ...... myself & other responsible members, are not always on-line, everyone can help by using the "report post" button anytime you think something is suspicious, offensive, inappropriate, etc. If it's been checked out & it's OK & Legit, then as they say: "No foul...No harm." If it's not OK, it will be removed.

So now I have a dottech super spam cop buddy to work with to help keep the forum streets safe from spammers, predators, ner-do-wells, maladjusted psycho-sociopaths & just plain dumb as**.... However, Adrian, you got more in 1 fell swoop than I have.

OTOH: it seems that they are taking things to a new & more insidious level.

The posts that have been made by "Super Spammer" 'ipodtoitunes' are all spam. The links may not be dangerous, but you can see clearly that it advertises crap software, just with the spelling mistakes on the page linked to. So please don't click on any of the links, and I have notified Ashraf about them already.
