Not the usual GOTD bauble, this looks useful.
According to the promoter:
StepShot is a powerful and yet simple to use tool that enables you to create detailed step-by-step procedure guide or manual. This tool brings creating manuals to the new level, when each step of the procedure can be recorded and edited within one program and then the whole story bulk can be exported and saved as a document. Document your knowledge; share it with colleagues, partners and customers.
The GOTD giveaway page (http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/stepshot/) has comment approval greater than 50%, and the promoter/developer is answering queries and criticisms.
It installs sensibly, requires .NET 4 which it will install if you don’t have it.
I have not used it in anger yet, but it seems to have a useful “help” PDF.

Incidentally the free version shown on this page is time limited whereas the GOTD version is the usual full, but not supported version.
It occurs to me that we could use it for writing/making reviews [CC] reviews. Don’t tell Ashraf, he doesn’t need any help with his excellent articles.

lol. locutus doesn't need a fancy program to write up guides. You are amazing already. You can't improve locutus' guides.. it just won't feel as awesome :P

Can I get in this "creep-fest"? Ashraf and Locutus both post great guides and reviews, but anything that improves their throughput (that means more please), without reducing the high standard, has to be good!
