Alright – so today's GOTD is called "Atmosphere Lite Plus".
It is a program that is marketed to add soundscapes to audio files.
Before using this program, I went on a Feature Comparison chart on the developer's homepage. This version is a middleman, between Pro and Free versions.
I noticed that the Lite Plus version allows importing of audio – but only allows WAV format while the Pro version allows importing of MP3, OGG and Wav.
Come on developers it's 2010!!! WAV is an old format already! Most codecs can be added without royalties, so the Lite Plus version should at least support OGG, MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC! Considering it is a paid-for program!
I am definitely not downloading and installing this crap software.

audio editor (i classify this program as an audio editor because it add value to the audio) only doing a WAV is ridiculous

Yeah, AudaCity can do most of that and a lot more, and it's free.
Same thing, every time an audio editor is given away at GOTD many people talk about how AudaCity is excellent. I don't agree with some of them… Some effects can't be done with AudaCity.

I grabbed it this morning and gave it a trial run… I kinda like it.
It's pretty simple to use. The preset sound environments are nice also.
I'll mess with it a little bit more when I go back home. If I find any issues I'll post about them. But at a first glance it does exactly what it's intended for " to help mask noise, promote relaxation or even to replace an entire collection of natural sound CDs ".
I had the sound of crashing ocean waves mixed with fountain while getting ready for work… it was pretty cool.

Gioneo: I still don't like the fact that it doesn't allow importing of MP3 format. Ashraf, where are you? Your reviews are much more comprehensive than my silly rants…

@Adrian – Just FYI: Ashraf doesn't do reviews related to music software so that's why he has not reviewed this particular giveaway.

I can't speak for Gioneo, but my comment has nothing to do with the part of Adrain's comment where he asks for Ashraf to do a music review. I'm agreeing with the statement after that.
