3 months and no new reviews. I guess that donation (or donations. I can't remember if I made more than 1)
I would have made a monthly donation if Ashraf hadn't have given up his reviews for a game.
It seems that is the way for most coders/reviewers/blog ops. They find a game and give up their work.
I have a web friend, a coder. He was coding his own game, we were beta testers. He started playing a game and we were
waiting for the new patch. That was 2 months ago. Seems this project will go down in flames. Or he'll get bored and come
back to it. In the meantime we play, waiting for the patch.
Maybe Ashraf will get bored with his game. And come back to his blogs, forums, and reviews.

I presume you are talking about GOTD reviews. I got bored of those, to be honest. Plus i realized that dotTech was too dependent on GOTD. I find Android apps more interesting now.
I am more than happy to refund your donation. I wasnt aware there were strings tied to it, but if you send me a private message telling me the email address you donated with I will send them all back.

Glad about the lack of GOTD reviews, the GOTD's all seem to be on a small number of unnessary or over worked themes. But if there is a useful GOTD please at least flag it even if you don't review it.
Sorry you're hooked on Androids, please don't neglect PCs (even laptops) altogether.
Actually like many other avid dotTech followers, I found you via GOTD! So it isn't all bad.

i think the point of the community content is also for each one of us to help out. like while ashraf may be addicted to android for the time being :P he gives us access to the CC so that we could publish what we find… so i guess its sorta a win-win situation.

Dottech is a community, cheroke55, we shouldn't simply rely completely on Ashraf and Locutus for entertainment and articles all the time, everyone needs a break. The whole point of dottech is to be a community and provide our own knowledge and articles etc in the forums or in the new community thread.
Pulling the "But i donated" card doesn't mean that there has to be a sudden flux of articles, it means that you wanted to support your favourite site, and the community that it holds. Not to be too harsh, but it's true.
I personally prefer the fact that there are no more GOTD reviews, a lot of the programs were just, unworthy of being reviewed tbh.
@Ashraf: btw, the community thread was a great idea! :) (I've been gone for a Loooooong time now) expecting to see a larger variety of articles now ;P
Difficult, to be sure…..but it shall be done!!
