I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 Netbook Edition. In fact, I hardly ever use my Windows computer any more (which makes writing up Windows freebies a kind of hard thing to do).

Just read the rewritten article; I like the new way a lot better, it's a pain to upload huge video files to Zamzar. Glad you understood the whole explanation, did you know what quoted-printable was?

Also, I notice in the screenshot of SpamLot that the button and radio buttons looked different than usual, is that another OS or a firefox theme?

Finally! URLs in Zamzar e-mails are fixed! The problem was not with quoted-printable-decode, but in my usage of it. I ended up running the function on the body twice, causing the equals signs in the URLs to be interpreted as quoted-printable symbols, causing the 2 characters following the equals sign to be interpreted along with the equals sign as an ASCII character reference.

If you followed all that, I'm impressed, maybe I can get your help next time such a bug crops up. If you didn't, it doesn't matter - the point is: Zamzar URLs now work, and SpamLot can now be used for Zamzar.

I just added a new alternate domain: spmlt.cz.cc. It doesn't contain the word spam, but it does have a lot to do with SpamLot. I now how a total of 9 alternates, so when you count those along with @spamlot.co.cc, there are now 10 domains you can send your junk to!

Still working on getting Zamzar URLs to work, I think the problem has something to do with the fact that they send their messages in quoted printable format, and something is going wrong in PHP's quoted_printable_decode function, but I'm not sure. I'll keep working at it though, and post here when I manage to fix it.

That's all that shows up in the body? That's not what happens for me! Maybe you got it while I was working on fixing it; you should try it again.
